Villaret Palos is a visual creator based in Southeast Asia since 2018. His practice centres on colour and stratification. Through the observation of saturated colours, surfaces, materials and textures, he examines how layers of things accumulate and construct the distinct identity of a place.
Working primarily in Bangkok, his research approaches this city as a living skin, where chromatic intensity, material density and human presence are intertiwned and shape its identity. His work investigates the relationship between surfaces and skins, exploring how environment and bodies occupy the same visual and social space.
